What is a blurb?

A blurb is your favorite beach on the Bermudian coast.  It’s your favorite entre to order at Gullifty’s in Rosemont.  It’s your opinion on that movie you just saw.  It’s your opinion on the Harley you just bought.  A blurb is an analogy you’ve discovered in your favorite book, or that secret study hide-a-way you’ve discovered at your school.  Simply put, a blurb is a piece of you.

There is no one example that can completely encompass what a blurb is.  Similar to their authors, every blurb is unique.

Here’s how to blurb in seven easy steps:

1. First, think of something unique to share.

2. Select an area within the neighborhood to share it.

3. Once you’ve arrived at your blurbing destination, click on the “new blurb” link on the right side of the page.

4. Upon clicking this link, you will be taken to the blurbing screen.  Start off by filling in your blurb’s subject (Subject formatting will vary based on section of the neighborhood.  Please adhere to the respective format.)

5. Blurb away!

6. Before submitting your blurb, you can click the “preview” button to get an idea of what your blurb will look like when shared in the neighborhood.

7. Finally, click "share."
